I’m Alana, a homeschooling mom who believes learning should be interesting, engaging, and woven into everyday life. I’ve been homeschooling my oldest from the very beginning—she’s now a junior in high school! With a background in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Teaching, I love blending structure with creativity to make learning both effective and fun.
 
My philosophy is simple: learning doesn’t have to be boring! So much can be discovered as we go about our daily lives—without even opening a textbook. Teaching kids to think for themselves is one of the greatest gifts we can give them. And when it comes to reading, I believe it’s worth the time to find books that captivate kids—the kind they can’t put down. Teaching my own children to read was one of my greatest joys!
 
Beyond homeschooling, I’ve run multiple small businesses in the handcrafted and creative space. I love Jesus, books, and all things creative—crafts, painting & drawing, and hands-on learning. I’m so glad you’re here—let’s make homeschooling an exciting adventure together!
